Fydelia acts as an external splash page provider for your Meraki network. The Meraki controller redirects guests to our hosted portal, we handle authentication and data capture, then grant access back through the Meraki API.
Connection and redirection
Guest selects your Meraki guest networkWhen a guest enters your venue, their device detects and displays your available WiFi networks. They select your Cisco Meraki guest network and attempt to connect.
The Meraki Network Controller, configured for Fydelia's external portal, intercepts the connection before granting full network access. Our captive portal software layer, running on top of your Meraki infrastructure, detects the incoming request and serves your pre-designed splash page to the user's browser.

Guest sees your branded splash pageThe guest's browser loads the captive portal splash page hosted by Fydelia. Access to our servers is permitted before full authorisation, thanks to the Pre-Authorization Access settings configured in the Meraki Dashboard.
The guest interacts with your portal page — this typically involves entering their email, accepting terms and conditions, or engaging with promotions. This is where you can showcase AdCards, flash offers, scratch-card games, loyalty rewards, and other marketing or promotional messages.
WiFi access and data association
Guest goes online, data flows to your systemsAfter the guest submits their details, Fydelia authenticates the user and communicates with the Meraki Network Controller via the Meraki API to grant the device full internet access.
The captured email address and any other submitted data are associated with the guest's device, enabling behavioural tracking within the WiFi network and future marketing communications. The guest now enjoys free WiFi according to the guest policies defined in your Meraki Dashboard (bandwidth limits, session duration, etc.).
In the background, guest data is securely stored and can flow into your CRM, email marketing platform, or any of 100+ connected integrations — all in compliance with your privacy policy and applicable regulations.
