Fydelia acts as an external splash page provider for your UniFi network. The UniFi Network Application redirects guests to our hosted portal, we handle authentication and data capture, then grant access back through the UniFi Controller API.
User connection and redirection
Guest selects your UniFi guest networkWhen a user enters the venue, their device detects the available WiFi networks. They select your UniFi guest network and attempt to connect.
The UniFi Network Application (Controller), configured for Fydelia's external portal, intercepts this connection before granting full network access. Our captive portal software layer detects the incoming connection and serves the pre-designed splash page to the user's browser.

Guest sees your branded splash pageThe user's browser loads the captive portal splash page hosted by Fydelia. Access to Fydelia's servers is permitted before full authorisation, thanks to the Pre-Authorization Access settings configured in the UniFi Controller.
The user interacts with the portal — logging in, accepting terms, viewing promotions, deals, and marketing messages. This is where you can showcase AdCards, flash offers, scratch-card games, loyalty rewards, and other promotional content to drive engagement and revenue.
WiFi access and data association
Guest goes online, data flows to your systemsAfter successful submission, Fydelia authenticates the user and communicates with the UniFi Network Application to grant internet access. The captured email and other data are associated with the user's device.
The user enjoys free WiFi according to UniFi guest policies (bandwidth limits, session duration, etc.). Data remains securely stored and can flow into your CRM, email marketing platform, or any of 100+ connected integrations — all for marketing, communication, or analytics purposes.
